Jon Jacobson is a multifaceted writer with a Master's Degree in Sports Journalism from Quinnipiac University.  He has been blogging about the Celtics since 2010 and has written for several different sports blogs.

The day the Celtics won the NBA Finals in 2008 was undeniably one of the happiest moments of Jon's life.  His favorite player is Paul Pierce because of the many ups and downs The Truth went through as a member of the Celtics. However, Jon can often be seen sporting his Brian Scalabrine jersey at the TD Garden.

He earned a Bachelor's Degree in English/Writing at Binghamton University in New York.  As a Boston fan in enemy territory, Jon honed his sports debating skills in daily heated arguments over topics such as Kevin Garnett's intensity, Carmelo Anthony's lack of intensity, and Eli Manning's fluctuating IQ.

Jon's popular article "Dear Kobe: A Letter from a Celtics Fan" was recently published in the June 2016 edition of Hoop Japan.  The Japanese basketball magazine featured the article as an eight-page feature and the opening article for that month's issue.

Jon once knocked down 9-11 three-pointers from behind the arc. He also coached a team of high school freshmen to the playoffs and hopes to one day use his skills and knowledge of basketball towards a successful career in the sport.
